Its just an automated bot flooding us with this cr@p, I'd imagine.. We need some sort of verification with account creation and these bot accounts deleted!
please refrain from commenting on spam treads.

Ok, here's my 5c....
A few years ago, Sealine was the best fishing site around. So many guys i know would look forward to their next log on, whether at work or at home. Then came the keyboard warriors. We know we're supposed to stick to size and bag limits, but as if that wasnt enough, the holier than thou started gunning people for keeping legit fish. At the time it was a pleasure to see the fish they caught and the back stories. Then it all just collapsed. everyone stopped posting pics of what they caught, when, where and how. Yes, some of us do our bit to try and keep our fishing areas clean, some of us catch and release and some of us stick to the rules, but the party poopers took over and messed things up for everyone, No matter what you post, there'll be some idiot criticizing. thats my take on it

how much can one write about fishing for elf?

if you took notice it was due to a bunny hugger, a well educated angler who came over a bit too strong for everyone's liking.
we even call each other at times, then we talk rubbish lol.
Sealine i think has the most topics and posts.
there is so much info here.
the guys were taught how to do reports and eventually miles put all together in a much better way.
he is a great angler, but a better person as he did not delete all his posts when he left.

Not 100% correct, he took offence because i used pictures of commercial catches of kob and yellowtail filling the back of a bakkie to compare treknet catches filling the back of the bakkie.
We are good buddies now, live about a decent throw with a half brick away from eachother... And have long conversations about the state of the Breede river, taxed fish, people not counting taxed fish as a fish out of the system and so on....
