Ok, so last year in November I went to visit my folks in Knysna, and my friends in Jeffreys.
So, I went fishing almost every day, specifically dropshotting (Except for twice) and I blanked just about every time.
Finally I foul hooked the little fish on the left of my pic while he was going for my Camo worm. The fish on the right was of the same species, but this time my brother foul hooked him
Could someone please ID them? They were caught off the Knysna Jetty, where Tappas used to be, and where the SANPARKS Office now stands.
Ok, so that was Knysna,
Then we went to Jeffries, where my friends live on a channel that is fed by the sea. I couldnt possibly blank here could I?? Well, I didnt, but I only managed to catch blaasoppies. That river is infested with them. Saw some other fish swimming around and cast at them, but they weren't interested in my offerings.
Then, my friend, which goois pap for EP took me to a dam in P.E., near where they are building a new stadium (Near Coca Cola I think). Well, I have never in my life caught so many fish in one sitting. I was on literally every 5 - 10 minutes. We caught numerous Carp of 1 - 3 kilo, and a couple of Kurpers as well. I didnt take any pictures, as I actually could only think of getting my line back in as quickly as possible. Boy, what a difference it makes to fish with a pro. I'll never be a keen papgooier, but I certainly enjoyed that day.
Gosh, it took me a while to get the courage to write this report for fear of ridicule :doh
So, there you go, have a field day now!
