Easter Weekend Crayfish/Kreef

Sorry about your unsuccessful dive this morning, we were out for 2 hours and got 12 crayfish. We did go far out though, almost to the end of the kelp. We placed the buoy on the edge of the kelp line, just inside from the boat channel.
Some idiots in a rubber duck almost ran us over, even though I was right next to my yellow diving buoy! He rode in on the swell that buried all the kelp and wasn't looking down below him.

I've done a lot of swimming in that area, you have to be very careful of donkeys in boats there. I actually don't dive there at all in crayfish season as too many guys who have no idea are driving boats there. I have been sitting quietly on the bottom and had boats drive right over the top of me - it's pretty spooky as you are not sure how far they are or where they are going! I've odne a lot of quick surfaces as well, with my gun coming out first!
