Afternoon trendies so this morning myself and Brad fished Palms,we got there at around 5:30am, I sent out a friggate head, then rigged up brads rod and rigged up a 1kg yellowtail back end on a 13/0 eagle claw, casted for him then let him slide the bait. 15 minutes later I reeled in my friggate head and it was needing some fillets wrapped around it, then as I was preparing the bait I noticed a bump on brads rod and knew it wasn't a wave, picked it up, waited 2 or 3 minutes to set the hook and once I was confident the circle hook was in the corner I handed the rod over to brad, he then fought it nicely, we landed it just to the left of where we were fishing on the rocks as it was small, was a 164cm PCL male raggie and I'm glad for brad he is starting to learn how to fight sharks ,he now needs to learn how to properly prepare baits and cast mainly. I'll post a picture up later when I get it from him.

I on the other hand had a bad day, 1stly my smoothound head came off while sliding as a result of the cable tie failing then when sliding a yellowtail head out my 0.6mm big game chaffed off at the tip from sliding, never thought it could happen to 0.6mm but hey this is fishing and nothing goes according to plan.

200m of topshot, 50 gets damaged. That equals 150 left, and that is too little. Thus you have to respool....verstaan jy nou of moet ek n prentjie teken?
