Durban Bay

Hi Guys

Some help/guidence if possible ?

Whats the best areas/times to fish in Durban Bay and do you guys target certain species at certain times of the year ?

I just got my skippers and have managed to get everything else sorted out (pink disc/COF etc) so can now fish on the bay and really looking forward to it. I used to fish off the side a lot with my drop shot stuff but have not been fishing from the side for a while in view of the restrictions etc.

Really excited its been a long road getting everything done.

I reckon there must be some guys on this forum that has experience in that area that would be willing to accompany you on a trip or two.

The best way to do this I reckon, esp with you being new to the deep sea scene is to get someone to show you the ropes around the bay.

hi riles.its hard to pin point spots as ther are no reefs.but you more than welcome to contact me and il show you around.i fish th habour often and we get some nice fish.

make sure all requirments are met coz the cops do regular inspections.make sure all on the boat have fishing permits as well.
