Any Sealiners fish actively in Dubai area?

Offshore or from the shore?For offshore fishing there are LOTS of charters!Best catches from offshore charters are probably from the Abu Dhabi(Trevallies,Kingfish,Tuna and Hamour to name a few) and Fujairah charters(Dorado,Marlin,Sailfish and YF Tuna mostly).From shore you don't have many options left as everything is being built up and developed along the Dubai shoreline and fishing in general aint very good anyway,mostly juvenile fish as the fishery is under tremendous pressure from recromercials and charters catching and keeping anything and everything!There's a Whatsapp group called 'SA anglers Dubai',but these guys fish mostly Abu Dhabi which is miles better fishing wise than DXB!If interested to join this group let me know..there are better places to fish outside Dubai in both directions towards Sharjah,Fujairah,Ras Al-Khaimah and towards Abu dhabi.Some places a 4x4 is essential.Be warned,every area has a different permit that you must buy.Sometimes they'll just ask you to move along,other times you'll be fined and fines are usually big if caught without a permit.Hope this helps,if you have any more questions just ask...

Yeah, one lousy Saladfish for 4000 casts in Fujairah today, shore is a waste of time.

Will catch up with you for more info before I go for a gooi again.

I'm in town now and roughly about 4 months of the year on and off. Often charter out of Fujairah. Shout if you are keen.
