Dual battery system

Hi Guys,

I a looking at installing a dual battery system in my jetski but im not sure on the setup and required equipment to do so.

Please can someone point me in the right direction?
Photos would be a bonus.

Hey Matt,

I have also been thinking of a dual system as I am alone on most of my launches. I asked my ski service centre here in Joburg if they would do it and I was told that it shouldn't be necessary!
My main worry is if the battery goes flat out there and there is no sea rescue unit in Moz. I have purchased a Powermonkey 200 which os a small and portable self contained jump starter device in case the battery needs encouragement. I think it would suffice as it is better than nothing for now until I can find an installer in Joburg.

Hi

Could someone please post the dual battery system  on the forum with foto's as sum of as don't stay near big city's and shops that can do it.

Just upgraded my dual battery system to a switch that can select the different batteries instead of physically changing battery terminals which is almost impossible when you are in rough sea's a few miles out.Not cheap at approx 4.7K but well worth it when you really need it!
