Dropshot in Margate area - please help

Hi Guys

I'll be in Margate for a week this coming Thursday. I mostly flyfish (from JHB), and when I get to the coast I like to dropshot, throw spoons, etc from the beach or rocks.

Can anyone tell me where the good spots are in and around Margate? Also..the SAFE spots...I will probably have to fish on my own. Also, don't fancy my car being broken into of course.

Also, any tips on what Berkley baits will work, what fish to target, etc...will be appreciated.

Manaba beach just below the lifesavers hut, Uvongo near the fishing pier,orangerocks between uvongo and st michaels, the rocks just to the right of the old Margate fishing pier. S spoon works very well as well as the halco spoon not sure what it is called. all along the rocks between manaba and uvongo but first watch a bit oterwise you will hook yourself up on the rocks.
