Another good spot for you to try out is a spot called flatrocks. When driving through the beachfront you continue towards Cape Recife, approximately 250m before the Pine Lodge/Cape Recife turnoff is a short gravel road that turns off the road towards your left. You will notice a biggish parking lot. Straight in front of you to the right walk up the beach around 100m. The place is Flatrocks and during hight tide creates quite a nice gulley where you can try for numerous species. If you go back onto the main road you can continue with this road until you go past the back of the University of Port Elizabeth. The road goes for approx. 3km's before you start getting the coastline again. On your left on the next bend you will find the Noordhoek Ski Boat Club. Continue along this road and here, on the left you will find various good gulleys that produces good fishing on both conventional and dropshot and again the species list is impressive.
