Hi Guys,
I am going to sodwana at the end of November.I own a Daiwa Exceler 8ft MHF action rod.The reel is a shimano JHX 4000.Not sure if the reel is up to the task.It is loaded with 18 lbs Rapala Titanium Braid. Is this a good enough combination for targeting King fish?

Any help or tips will be appreciated!

Cheers,

Mongoose.

Diesel,
What kind of spoons do you use?I have a small 3" Red eye herring spoon,4" silver shad spoon, assorted buck tail jigs.
Would the Onda Onda be a good choise?

Cheers!
