I have spoken to the organising committee and members.

Werner Lubbe is not involved in the Feeder Champs and is focussing on the Match Champs

The secretary of SA Freshwater Angling, Andries Maree is managing the Feeder Championships and is compiling a full information brief for all teams in terms of:

Recognised and recommended accommodations
Tackle and Bait suppliers, centralised
Seatbox hire etc.

This brief is due for release to all participating countries, via FIPS in March 2013

I would just like to post that the feeder world champs is approaching fast and I'm sure all the countries can't wait as neither can we. We had a good match South African championship in April and the feeder South African championships will be held in October.

Would also like to add if anyone is interested in the rental of feeder gear for the world feeder championships they can contact me as I am the Preston agent in South Africa.

Is there another forum or internet site where more information over the world champs is?
I,ve heard that the venue has been changed due to lack of water ?
I Can not believe that in this day and age that we have no up to date information about a world championshis!

The championships will still be held at Bloemhof Dam, but at the Sandveld nature reserve venue, not Bamboesspruit as was originally planned. Sandveld is close to the dam wall on the opposite shoreline. Much closer to the town than Bamboesspruit.
