Hi Bennie, I am also experimenting with cards.

I used a lower class card and the camera would stop recording. So I bit the bullet and got a 64G SanDisc card, it is red and silver. This is working well, but it cost me R1k at Incredible-ripoff. These are the cards GoPro recommends: http://gopro.com/support/articles/software-update-release

Thanks.

I did a little reading last night and since I'm not going to be doing any slow motion stuff, 25 FPS is fine. I put the settings to 720/25. 720 is still considered High def but at 25 frames per second. It is considered High def on a 24" screen or less. If the screen you are watching on is bigger, then you need to go higher to 980, 1050 or even 1440. I only want to watch footage on my PC for now to analise what goes on in the spread.

Now I'm getting 3 hours on the 16 gig card and 3 hours on the battery.

Cool, that sounds good. Then if you have a good day you can bring the camera in, replace the battery and memory card, and you set for another 3 hours.

Problem. My battery is lasting 3 hours but the card is only good for 55 min...
Going to need 3 X 32 gig or even better would be 3 X 64 gig.

Anyone know where to get some class 10 cards?

If I'm filming at 720 P can I use Class 8 or even 6 cards?

Hey Bennie

I got my class 10 64gig micro sd from computer mania

ask for the brand strontium R800 each

It was the best price I could find and it is a good brand.

Thanks! The 16gig is working well for the battery now. When I change the battery I change the card. I think I managed to get 16 gig class10 cards for about R200 each.
