hi guys just got back hme frm the truely magical baan and while i was there i came across a  diawa jupiter 14ft rod now wot i wanna knw is ,,, is this a good scratching rod ???

i had one of thoses! not the greatest but its dirt cheap i believe in using whats comfortable (execpt reels buy the best you can and look after it) and as with most rods stick to the limits etc i snaped mine casting a plug during a leerie smash at struisbaai. the rod is actually quite light.

 

if you want a good scratching rod shimi 110H or the adrenilin 11ft

update us on the baan trip bud please i want to go down soon them kob be whispering to me in my sleep HAHAAHA

i had the diawa jupiter 380 (i think). awesome edibles stick. i landed smoothies in the 20kilo mark with it as well but it's got very little backbone so you cant bully fish away from the bricks with it. but for kob etc it's a great rod and really cheap.

I had the Jupiter 14ft, like the posts before said, dirt cheap, very very little backbone, but a fun stick
