Does anyone know at what wheight the drags maximum is?

I would say set it according to breaking strain of your line in relation to the rod you are using, thus not putting too much of strain on the entire outfit.

Couldn't tell you. I would never fish with the drag set to max on a grinder or star drag multiplier. I sorta wing it while fighting the fish, starting off with the drag just tight enough! If you know your outfit this is the way to do it!
