Hi Guys and Girls

I need mre info on creature baits. I va a couple of models including lizzards, Yamamoto creatures and brushogs in my fishing kit. But I ave never had much success with creatures.

Can any one give a couple of tips because I am sure I am missing something.

Where do you use them, What do you use, how do you rig them and how do you fish them?

hey Monster.

ek het n tipe krap / kreef bait in n bruin kleur. die enigste tye wanneer dit werk is as ek dit staaaadig gebruik...gooi en los, twitch twitch en los...hou jou lyn dop vir die strike, dis baie keer net n optel en wegswem take...

I normally fish mine on a weighted Texas Rig when I want to fish heavier structure or rocks. They are supposed to imitate crustaceans or in the case of the Tiny Brushog, dragonfly nymphs (personal opinion), so fish them slowly and add a bead to the setup to get that nice clacking sound going. I also like to fish the Tiny Brushog around weed line on a light Mojo rig so that the bait moves freely. This can be quite deadly! Lastly, my favorite way to fish the bigger Brushogs is on a Texas rig around loose rocks. Essentially, just use your imagination!

So i couldn't find the pic i was looking for...but culprit has a nice tassel tail lizard.
Anyways, creatures baits and jigs are the two lures im working on now, as i love heavy structure!!And whats awesome is, you can use the creature and the jig together like vaalboy said...

I also couldn't find the culprit flipping craw...but looks similar to the Gary yamamoto craw.
This is maybe one of my favorite creature baits at the moment.
