crayfishing vs angling

Me and my dad both love spending time at the ocean however........
He likes fishing and i like snorkeling for crayfish and im getting into spearfishing aswel. We are nogal unlucky when it comes to fishing around cape town. He isnt realy the one to target hotties and other fish mostly found around thick kelp forests. He usualy goes for kabeljou, steenbras, elf or yellowtail.

Can anyone please recomend a few spots where we can find a bit of both our interests so both of us can enjoy our fishing/snorkeling trips.

The whole Hangklip, Betty's, Pringle bay area produces kreef and edible fish better than any other area around Cape Town I know of, there are a range of spots fishable and diveable in varying conditions. Check out the google earth links kindly posted by sealine members to find spots. The Cape Point reserve is also good for fishing/spearing/kreefing but there are obvious cost issues...
