Crabs

I have heard that a crab is very good bait, but can somebody tell my how do you put it onto the hook.

What I normally do when fishing with crab for Brusher,I take my hook and insert it in the left hand side (last leg)then pierce it out the middle of the body.

Then take all of it's legs (left hand side)and bind with cotton,try straighten all the legs when binding.

This keeps the crab fixed to your trace AND the right hand side still looks normal.

DON'T BREAK THE BIG CLIPPERS!!!!!(you want your bait to stand out pride)

Don't worry if you get bitten...lol

Practice on dead crabs to get use to baiting up....

Long shank hook, you can break off the claws.

i personally mallet it into a mush on some chokka, then cotton it up, not a fan of using crab live.
