I'm going to be in capetown in december from the 15th till the 23rd (staying in summerset west).

Im looking for places to go fly fishing or perhaps join one of you guys for a days fishing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fin-S - Mate, we still need to go for a little mission on that river we spoke about... the one that starts with an L.....

Might fish the Hotel Beat of Smallblaar tomorrow.... But not sure....

If you're staying at the "West", closest spot for you is Blakes Beach in Strand. From the Strand Pavilion, anywhere towards Gordons Bay side - up to the Blakes reef (200-300m)which goes out in a long curving arc to your right. The juvenile Leeries will be there, as well as Elf (shad) and some smaller Kob.

Have caught shed-loads there on Fly over the years. Best with High Tide just after dark, fish the last 3 hours of the push used to produce best results for me.

Nepps, Monday or Wed morning? Missus' bday on Tues and am heading to Egypt Wed night. Or wait til 2-5 Dec? Just to whet the appetite, kid number 3 from the pools next to said river - 3wt and 4lb tippet.

I would say contact Sean Mills, he knows that area very good for saltwater and freshwater!
