Ganzekraal on the west coast, but mostly in summer when that water turns brown.bettys bay is also a good place as is gordens bay side around the mountain. Seen a lot of them in buffles bay in cape point this week while spearfishing!!nice and big ones!!So you kan try rooikranzies, only fishable spot with little kelp and deep water!:shark:shark

melkbaai also but he small ones are about, wait for the cooler water.

they do frequent reefy/ kelpy areas in winter and you find them coming off reefs in search of food.

BIG bloody baits, mackie, mullet, sarda, bonito, strepie etc are your average baits. although they rob cob anglers of small pilchard baits

Melkbaai in strand is your easiest place to pick them up. Most people make the mistake of casting over them. As subaruseun said bloody baits is there downfall. I personally like a nice bloody skippy and a tip of advice is they like the soft baits...

I had them take and leave a head in the past, but a reversed fillet...Eish... Mountain is also good... Koei and kalf, diamond, plat bankies and vogelsteun. The browner and colder the water the better.
