I dont know why you guys are getting excited over parts that have been cleaned . Its not exactly rocket science . Rule of thumb would be that if you dont need your mommy to wash you , you should be able to operate a paint brush and some de-greaser :)

Thats a ((goodp_ Hooked.

You can include the screwdriver and the tweezers.

FYI those cleaning/oiling products can be sourced at the local....on the eiland.

Hi Ebi

For the mentally challenged with their negative comments as always, they are 2different reels WOW you are so correct and YES i do this often as said also as the point is to get a message across.

The first reel is a finnor while the second is a torium.

This the main reason i have been so quiet on sealine due to these idoitic people with low self esteem whom think the know it all and seldom add value in what they say. Their comments are more destructive than critical.

The negative persona they create and leave on the forum is bad for bussiness also the aliases they have created to back up their poor form comments should all be banned i think.

In life you get people whom you look forward to hearing from and then you get people like these...............

;)

Those tricksters sure have loads of cash.

But getting back to matters at hand, I fail to see how the member (post now edited) is creating any negativity with his reply.

He was just plainly stating a fact that he noticed something!

I for one am happy to have found the corrosion inhibiting products on the net, and with my own dexterity will continue to service my own reels.

Wow! After reading how Rinex pimped his Shimano 15/30 reel for long distance casting... I wanted to know if I could do the same for my Shimano Speedmaster IV.
I made contact with Rinex and he gave me Old Salt's details.
After speaking to the "Old" one, "old" with reference to his wisdom when it comes to reels and all the technical details about it and how it can be enhanced to perform better, I took my Shimmie to him.
Listening to him speak, not understanding many of the illustrations he made, made me realise this guy has a special passion for his hobby, servicing, repairing and pimping reels.
Lyk my hy laaik dit meer as hengel self! :)
He put in carbon fibre washers; undercut my spool for distance casting; replaced shims; replaced the main drive shaft bush with a bush he turned from some hard "spaceage" material that will tripple the life of the bush with almost no wear on the shaft.
He also designed his own power handles, wat ek nog moet kry, but I am really soooooo impressed with my Shimmy's performance, I just had to share it with you guys!
Thanks for hooking me up Rinex.

Johan..NO one ever said he does poor work? there are hundreds of testimonials here about the good work he does? a Question was asked why the before and after pics were of two different reels? all he had to say was OOPS! i mixed my pics up?? instead he chose to attack us by calling us idiots and saying we don't belong hear on Sealine? if he cant handle the chirps hear on the Forum maybe he doesn't belong hear?

Hi Guys
Strip your reel down as much as you dare, lay out in stainless steel sink and give a liberal spray with Zeb oven cleaner. Leave overnight. Rinse well with cold water. leave to dry. Re grease with Penn lub, you will be amazed how well it works!!! Also good for bicycle gears and chain.

WELL SAID BUT i DON'T AGREE.

Quite simply put..B4 and after should be the same product..Not after of another product which you don't know what the b4 was...

Jonathan is an excellent serviceman of reels we all agree.

however...foto's don't miconstrue the facts SEEN.((goodp_

Thats nice
what I meant is rather show us some pics of reels he has serviced and lightly oiled to show how his products actually work instead of just showing pics of washed parts
