Conventional and Specimen combo

Hi guys,

So I was wondering about mixing up specimen and conventional carp fishing for a while now. Not particularly speaking about the style but more about the feeding and rig methods used.

So let's say you use a hair rig with a mieliebom combo or you use boilies and typical feed used for speciman fishing together with mieliebom?

What are your thoughts on that? Or should I keel with one thing?

just my 2 cents
baiting or feeding strategies doesn't really matter much the most important part is to make sure the rigs that you are using is fish save so if something parts the the fish will not be dragging a bunch of line around
i have my specimen set up and normal so while the specimen is lying waiting for the big boys then i can play around with the papgooi set up
