Competitive distance casting reels

Hi guys,

Im in the market for 2 new reels. They will be paired with 2 Blue Marlin T53/365 12 foot rods.

I dont know if I should go with baitrunners or big pit type reels like the shimano ultegras. I will be fishing competitively and socially with these.

Please give me your thoughts and also where in CT I would be able to find these reels at the best prices. Im willing to spen aboy R2000 per reel.

Also do anybody know where in CT I can get Tica Sceptres. I want 2 backup reels and want to look at these for that use.
