Compact Fishing Rod

Hi All.

Looking at getting a decent (multiplier) casting rod that's 'convenient and mobile' (10-12ft, pref 3-4 piece).

Should be able to cast well on the beach and will mostly be used to target eds.

any suggestions? (brand, model, etc.).

budget is +/- R2.5k.

Hi, I am using a blue marlin slimline. It's nice and compact and fits nicely behind the seat of my Corsa bakkie. I have it paired it up with the new torium 20. I had the rod for almost a year before I started using it as regular combo. Now I always pack in on every fishing trip i gon and really enjoying it now.
