I was wondering whether we as anglers make enough, if any, effort to protect our public image. When there are articles in the newspapers or magazines, accusing us of some or other redicilous atrocity? Do we really make a concerted effort to defend ourselves and ensure that the members of the public actually get to know the facts of the matter? It would appear as if we vent our frustrations at forums like these and amongst each other.
Should we not me be more aggressive in our approach and ensure that our side of the story, normally the true facts, also gets published.
