Yesterday got a 3kg snapper (approx) from shore with my red/white Halco Roosta popper 135. I know that they come with decent trebles but even this smallish fish bent some of the hooks slightly open, which brings me to my qeustion...
Can you use circle hooks on a popper of that kind? Will there be any difference in the hook up? And just basically ...will it work and is it recommended?
