Nice looking trace and bait there Wade.Them 12/0 z-steels sure do work well for small sharks but the big ones open them up,rather try and get some 13/0 eagle claws next time bilimoria have stock, they cheap, strong and are the perfect sized hook for a throw-bait.

ill be using my new grinder with those circles, i wouldnt be able to put enough pressure on the fish to even remotely open those mustad circles. I just i atleast get one decent shark

And when the shark rolls on your leader how will you stop the hook from pulling open? ESPECIALLY considering you are using a braid leader that has no stretch in it.
Also remember that braid straightens hooks faster than nylon because there is no stretch to act like a shock absorber.

Tha baits however are very neat, just work on the rugby ball shape I mentioned and you'll be casting them a mile.

i saw at bilimoria the new mustad circle hooks, 12/0 demon hooks, they look absolutely solid and cost R32 FOR 3

They do certainly look good but I pay R20 for 5 circle hooks so I'll stick with that. I'm also moving away from 200lb steel as one small grey or raggie messes up the steel so much that you cant use the steel again. I'm gonna use that 400lb stuff FLUKE,it's R4p/m so it's the same price as 200lb kingfisher Carbon Coated steel.

i got bitten off within 20sec with 200lb carbon coated steel, and i was using a circle hook

@Wade as soon as bilimoria get those 13/0 eagle claws in again get a few packs, they R20 for 5 and stronger than the 12/0's.
