Chokka Baits

Hi guys ,

After doing various searches I came up blank on what a blob bait needs to look like

and the other chokka baits.Didn't really fish much with chokka but want to give it a thorough test this year

If anyone can help with some pics or descriptions , I am sure i can figure out the rest.

Hammer the chokka til it's almost falling apart. Then tear pieces off and thread them onto the hook, twisting and re-threading the same piece. Do this several times, piece be piece, pushing them up the shank of the hook until you have a big blob. If you've threaded them enough times over the hook point, it's not necessary to use cotton. If you submerge a blob bait in a bowl of water and watch what happens as it absorbs water, you'll see why cotton is not necessary.
