You moegoe, how did you get that right? Pulling it out of a snag?

I just missed my brother pulling a spinner out of the grass... pity.

Hope you get that fixed soon bud.

my eyes watered asif someone was pulling hairs out my nose one by one.... wasnt lakker!

I wasnt interested in stuffing the fishing trip up by having to go to the doctor. So i just pulled it out there and then... **RRIIPP**!!!! and it was vas in there... couldnt believe it, had to PULL... hence my eyes watering some more... while my face/nose was still in shock from the impact i pulled it out quickly. See the red on my lip, thats from the brass ball hitting me....

but its not a lakker feeling... not at all.... i never want that to happen again... ever!

The worst part is i wasnt wearing glasses... i was about 2 inches from loosing my eye. Let it be a lesson to me and everyone! always use glasses. (i lost mine about a month ago and havnt bought a new pair yet).

The spinner was stuck on a daft little piece of grass about 5 meters infront of me, i was pulling and it shot back into my face.

Nothing as sharp as a DAM spinner....hehe I have ahd a few of these too - I feel your pain.........

When you look at goggles I just got me a pair of "DirtyDogz" Damn fine sunnies for the Price....
As you mention Never ever fish artlure without some form of eye protection - I would even go as far as to say never without a cricket hat ( acts as a nice shield when you have a high speed inbound lure with trebles)

feel your pain, had a number 10 hook embedded in my arm 5 weeks ago.

had to perform surgery at dam 06:30 sunday morning, by pushing the hook back out the skin to be able to cut it off. good thing for fishing pliers !!!!!

same thing, got stuck in grass, pulled line and saw the rig shooting back to my face, just managed to put my arm up and turn away....

Eina! I had a treble in my thumb once which was bad enough, in the nose isn't something I'd want to contemplate. Lucky it wasn't the eye though.
