Cheapest fishing tackle

I live in Jozi, and usually shop at Solly's or Mia's. Both are great with discounts and good deals. Would be nice to have a list of suppliers I could go to when in KZN or the Cape.

I really enjoy going into the little tackle shops when on holiday, but find them extremely expensive compared to Solly's or Mia's in Jozi.

Have been to a few bigger outlets in Durban, but find them formiddable for a new angler who isnt really sure what he is looking for.

Personally, shopping for fishing tackle is something that I enjoy almost as much as fishing, and just as I prefer certain fishing spots to others, I have my favourite tackle shops too. Of the lot, Fishing Specialist is my favourite and is always my first choice, even if only to talk a bit of k@k to Keith. :)

On the whole, I find their prices more than reasonable and I thoroughly enjoy every visit to the shop. I never quibble over cents when it comes to sinker prices and all the other bits and pieces that are constantly being consumed by our ragged coastline, but as far as the bigger purchases like rods and reels go, especially the top of the range stuff, they have always given me the best deal. I love that shop! Viva Fishing Specialist, Viva! Long may you guys trade!:)

Hi Chris you can give Russels Angling Supplies in Cape Town a call because he is fairly priced and he will beat any other Angling Store's Price that i am sure of because i support him on a regular basis and his tel No are as follow  (021)9396838. I will be visiting Agullas in Ocktobeer and i would like to meet up with you so we  can wet some lines together

all i can say about cheapest fishing tackle. EXCELLENT
besides ther super prices. there service is excellent. if you have a problem they will do there best to help you out. even if it means he losing out. i bought a rod from him and it broke after a few months, he took it back and replaced it. which other shop will do that?
