Cheapest Fishing tackle

Is there anybody willing to go get stuff from Cheapest Fishing Tackle for me ?

I phoned and was told they don't know if the owner will be willing to courier to PE, I tried to phone the owner but no answer.

I'm looking for a Trini 30 (without DC), maybe some 600m of Whiplash 50lb and if possible also a Stradic 6000.

Those who want to take my money and dijapeer (like in the mafia movies) please don't respond.

Does anybody on here KNOW the owner ? Can I dep the money into their account ? Can someone get me even better prices ?

I'm not joking, I'm IN THE MARKET FOR THE STUFF ...

i dont know the owner. i think emperor does and they have said before they will give discounts to sealine members. maybe pm emporer and he can help you with details.

hi jace am interested in what a entry level baitcaster and braid go for just so i can get an idea, would appreciate if you could check it out for me at the same time. i do like to shop around

Went there a couple of times and didn't see any , when I asked he said he dont stock.

if you know any different please let me know^^..

If they could courier to Jo'burg I dont mind paying a tiny little bit extra. I want to get my hands on a Torium 30, Or a Trini 30 depending on price. Also some Berkley whiplash braid for the Torium or Trinidad.

Jace do you think the owner would allow that?

That's true. Weather doesnt look good. I hope I dont get to many overwinds. I will pray to the weather Gods. I think Sat morn will be the best if at all.

Nope only getting it next week ...

but I still have .. 3x 20/40, 1x sl50sh, 1x TLD50

So I'm sorta geared enough for a "quickie".

When I have the stuff loaded with backing and some .55 line (I never received my T-Line so will go buy something else) I will have a SERIOUS talkie will you, just to run me through all the dos and donts of catching sharks ...

YOU KNOW MORE ABOUT CATCHING THEM THAN I DO !

That reel was last you a very very long time if you look after it, in my little mind it's the "best" multiplier ever made (my one is over 12 years old and still going strong)

And don't worry, I can't remember when is the last time I cast with one of my multipliers, so we both in the same "boat".

Luckily guys like Trophy and Katonkel don't know how to cast a "coffee grinder" so we can help eachother.

I honestly can't tell you how much line they hold, it's definately less than a 30 size shimano or a 50 size daiwa multiplier.

Capable they definately are ! Provincial and anglers used them for many many years, and only changed when the newer reels came out. And it was before the days of braid aswell.

THEY ARE STRONG !

Most of the "older" anglers carry their OLD 20/40s in their bags as backup reels.

Remember only a reliable reel can be kept as a backup reel ! You don't want a broken backup, it's purpose is to help you when your "main" reel failed.

okay cool and then budget wary what rod and line would you match to it. i ask cause there are so many out there and and i really cant afford the really good quality stuff, just wanting something that could handle inedibles, that i dont mind thrashing a bit while i learn the trade.

There are many good rods at decent prices, but note that I'm not the best person to ask about surf rods, I'm more into the light stuff.
I have a Exage 1468, a 3pc rod (but has 3 tips making it 5pc), rod is rated for casting between 6 and 8 ounces.
There are cheaper 3pc rods around, like the Blue Marlin.

Put it this way, HMG isn't for me, I tend to bump my rods every now and then and with HMG that means broken rod. Normal Graphite is good for me, can handle more punishment.

Line, well that's a story, I believe T-Line is .50 is good, but I have never used mine, I'm still waiting for mine to arrive from the manufacturer. Trophy has used it for a while and hasn't complained about it.

Let them thrash around, just don't set your drag too high !
