Cheap PowerPro braid

Hi Guys

Shimano's Powerpro braid has long been acknowledged as the best braid on the market. Trouble was the prices that the 'nice' shops want to charge us is ridiculous. Compare this R570 for 500yards or R1300 for 1500 yards, these are the best prices you will find. if you want to chip in with some mates we can improve these prices a lot.

give me a shout if you at all interested.

cheers

Jerry Brown still 30% cheaper than those prices and plenty shops in similar price range to those, bigger shops buying 10 spools per size that qualify for the bulk discounts.

Nice attractive site easy to navigate.

Thanks Craig re the site!

Not sure which shops in that price range. Mias is 630 for 300yards and here in Cape Town Fishing Specialist is over 750 for 500 yards...

if there is a shop out there with even similar prices i will knock off another R100 :)

Cheers Guys

As you know it's got to do with numbers purchased so that's why I can sell Shimano DL 6 & 10,000 for R600.

Westerns will match you braid prices but it's cheaper to buy online than drive through but you won,t match Gani's unless you sell below your cost

ja def numbers play a role. what is also important is number of hands (agents) that the product goes thru as each step adds there 30% or whatever... then you have shops who for various reasons dominate the market and thus dont need to be competitive price wise. these shops can really go to town with large mark ups...but we werent really talking about the industry more about the price of Powerpro

I must confess my first reaction when you said western acc/ ganis would have comparitive prices for Powerpro having dealt with them before was disbelief. this even tho i know you are the 'dude' of dudes when it comes to fishing matters and i have massive respect for you, I thought I would **** all over ganis and westerns price wise. I am the type of person who likes to know first hand what its all about, so i looked up Ganis number given their ruputation for rock bottom prices and spoke to JJ. This is what he told me on what Powerpro he had in stock:

80lb 500 yards = R850

50lb 300 yards = R400

I think you will agree with me then when I say I do actually wipe the floor with them Powerpro price wise espicially if you consider the mark up percentage difference? I import Powerpro direct from the factory in the USA and this is how i can sell it at these prices. I would of been disappointed if I was not getting a better deal and also able to pass that on to the customer.

cheers

Where is the "Like" button on sealine? I had a look at your prices and for a local dealer they are very good! I usually import from the US, but if I don't need a lot at once it's much easier and quicker to order from you.
