i cant find a way to put the chia seed on a hair as of yet because its to fragile when cooked,but i do understand your point hannes an MC and i also want to keep it as natural as possible but i just cant seem to get it right at the moment.

hey charlie, in my experience it's better to buy quality boilies than trying to make your own. it's less hassle for one thing and, even though it costs a few bucks, you're guaranteed a good bait if you buy a good brand of boilie. mixing together quality ingredients to make a boilie doesn't necessarily create a quality bait, 'cos the relative quantities of each ingredient in the boilie also makes a difference to the finished product.

at the end of the day, if you are just starting out or struggling with your baits, i'd say stick to maize as an all-round excellent carp bait...

Jy gaan meer van spesiehengel leer en ook 'n beter idee kry van sekere aas as jy self begin boilie maak. My Suid Afrikanse PB en my bytelandse PB is almal gevang op home made boilies. Maar dit is elke persoon se keuse waar mee hy of sy wil van.

hi sandstorm, ek stry nie, jy kan sekerlik baie leer deur jou eie aas te maak, maar dis hoekom ek se "in my experience..."

ek het nie baie tyd om te hengel nie, so ek koop eerder aas en spandeer die bietjie tyd wat ek het by die water. ek sal nie se dis tyd mors om self boilies te maak nie, maar meeste spesie hengelaars wat ek ken doen dit nie...
