I really enjoy catching them from the little inflatable on "relatively" light tackle, there is no fish in our waters that will stretch your line like a catfish.
My boet and me found them feeding on the surface in large groups last Thursday and in about 45 min we had 9 between us ranging from 5-10kg with 3 double-ups. It was a case of choose the biggest mouth open on the surface, drop your bait in and hold on tight
