Can anyone please tell me where I can get a list of the saftey equipment required for a jetski CAT D ?

Don't know about jetski but for a normal boat the safty equipment for CAT D is the same as for C, including VHF radio.

Hi Lemon

Can you maybe help. I am looking for the side pods that they mount on the sides of the jetskis which hold the safety botle and fisholder and gear. I know Yamaha has got them but I am looking for ones that fit a Seadoo GTI jetski.

I know that a company called Santa Racing does the tubby thing for Seadoos.
I dont have their number, but i am sure you can find them on the net.

I have also been looking at the tubbies and they look great for storage and heard that they add some stability to the ski, not that I feel that they need to be more stable in the water in general... but how does it affect the maneuverability of the ski in the surf?

Hi Guys

The tubbies will not effect the riding ability of the ski as it is out of the water when on the plane. It might hinder with sharp turning at speed. I want it for safety reasons. You can not get back on your ski in the surf if you have the normal safety bottle holder at the back. This allows you access to the back and kit is out of the way. I like the extra storage space.
