Lets set up a few social carp fishing meets.

Tel me are there any good carp fishing spots in KZN.I think that is a great idea freshwater socials we need to get going why dont we keep this post going so that we can get an idea of what where exactly the guy,s want to start.In this way we can all get an idea of what we have in store for us,im sure emperor will be keen to get some info and insight into this.

Yes there are. Midmar dam, Albert falls, Shongweni dam, Inanda Dam. These are the ones i normally fish in. average on a good day for me is around 20 to 30 carp 5kg + and a few smallies. I have taught many peeps how to fish for carp.

Yupp maybe after the sards come and go we can hook up and you can show me a thing or two regarding this type of fishing.I have only done as a kid in CT along time ago with my dad.There was a river somewhere near Miuzenburg or something like that and we used to go down there on Sundays.Was quite alot of fun i must say,we used to use mielies and soak them in syryp and things like that..

Hope we can do some carp fishing in the future..

Millies dipped into various flavours works very well. I use them as well as floaties, boilies etc. Also make my own dough based baits as well as flavours.

Im off to albert falls this weekend for carp and bass fishing. talking the whole nine yards. If anyone wants to join i will be on pelican bay from this afternoon until tuesday.
