Carp amongst seagulls

Hi there,last year beginning September i dropped my aunt near Hartleyvale stadium and waiting for her i noticed guys fishing by the gravel parking,while walking to them i saw one guy vas and when i got there he pulled out a carp of about 12kg on brown bread,he told me hes looking for small ones to cut for fillet and catch barbel which hes personnel there is 20kg plus,he sells the barbel fillet to restaurants,i also saw kurper as well as a big barbel where the canal is cut off by a wall,i dont have pictures but i have the footage on my cellphone,i only fish saltwater and i hope this is of interest to CT fishos ,went back some time later to show my buddy and there was literally 100's of fish some jumping out the water,with that wall built there they cant go further and looks like easy pickings kind of like hunting in the kruger to borrow a phrase  TIGHT LINES
