Hi All,
I have an old Mercury/Mariner (same motor) which is about 12 years old. Will check the serial number and date and update thread shortly.
Motor is great, besides a cracked carb. These motors are pretty common and the same layout for a long time - even the new ones have the same carb casting.
If anyone has an old motor not in use that they are willing to strip, I would pay a fair price for a second hand working carb. A new one is just ridiculously priced.
