Hi guys
I went fishing this holiday at Cape Vidal I studied bait presentations, traces the works as in December I tried but didn't get any decent fish. It was a pushing tide infront of the log cabins, the wind changed just for that day from a N to a SE.
That's when my luck changed I picked a sanbank which looked perfect and I was convinced this is the spot. I made the neatest most perfect little chokka and sardine bait with a piece of pienk prawn for colour. When my friend that I was fishing with saw the bait he told me if I don't catch something with that bait he gives up then we are not getting any fish.
I was pulled flat no small bites or anything, it took line for about 25m stopped and turned left to a bit of reef, I didn't have a clue what this might be. Eventualy I landed this 4kg Natal Stumpie
This is my PB for this species. I just had to share this experience with you guys as this was the highlight of my holiday and fishing trip.
