Cape Vidal shore spots

Hi my brother and friends and I are going to Cape Vidal next week, My brother will be fishing off his jetski but we will be shore angling, I was wondering:

1) do they allow vehicle beach permits at Vidal?
2) anyone know of any good fishing spots and where about they are? (Will be targeting both edibles and inedibles)
