Greetings everyone
I'm new to the site but been fishing most of my life. Has anyone fished Vidal recently or have any advice or tips please. We about 7 guys heading down from JHB for the last 4 days of Feb. A couple of the guys have fisheries before so kind of know the area.
I've heard of the northern ledges and southern ledges as well as Mission Rocks. Also the Bay Area where the boats launch when it first gets dark.
We mostly thinking of targeting eds at mission rocks and the ledges in the mornings but then maybe putting some makkies out the or mullet fillets in the afternoon for flat fish. And then Kingies late afternoon/night hopefully with live shad - size of course.
If anyone can advise where the better spots are for which time of the day? Your opinions on whether the northern or southern ledges are better would be appreciated?
We taking sard, prawn, chokka and red bait
Does anyone have a particular spot they would be willing to recommend?
