Cape Town Jetski Buds

I was checking this forum for jetski fishing in the western cape, I wondered if the cold water is keeping you dry in boats or in waders on the shore.
I might make a move down there by the end of the year, and jetski fishing has got my attention if it's not the wrong part of the world for it.
How are you enjoying your ski so far? And are there others around to fish with, maybe a club or 2?

i think the authorities down in the cape are full of SH1T. Jetski fishing has not been 100% accepted as a platform for fishing and i get the feeling the guys don't rate it safe. I have a huge problem with that cause in order for me to launch my ski I need exactly the same safety requirments as that of a one engine powered boat leaving the harbour/ launch site. oh and then there's also the stigma that jetski users are cowboys.....i hope that it will change very soon as this is one of the fastest growing facets of fishing.
If everything goes acc to plan i'll been having my aquaquad later in the week and it will be used mainly for fishing. Saftey , fishing gear and skippers ticket are in order. I havent yet seen one on the water here in cape town and im sure they (mcm) havent so i hope they won't give me a hard time.
