Flip. All I can say is that the conditions are still gross. I can only swing a dive after lunch today and a quick kreef dive tomorrow morning...

Call me if you're keen for either... 084 357 5176

Cheers,

Hi there.

Water temperature dropped to 15 degrees, nice colour, but with huge swells.
The actual swell height was much higher than what was predicted for today.

It should drop by tomorrow, just not sure it will be the best conditions for diving?

Regards,
BTTB.

Ahoy mate. The Tail are definitely around, but vis is 1-2m siff colour... Take your Kayak's for sure... guys are getting good fish spinning from their boats... in the Rooikranz area. But a word to the wise... If you do go down there, stay well out of their casting range.. Good luck.
Cheers,

Going to launch at Buffels early tomorrow morning (Thursday) a friend and I are taking our 2 kayaks out. Anyone keen to join? maybe you'll see us on the water, 2 orange plastics!

So Simon, How'd it go? Like I said, the tail were very active on Wednesday. Was good to see so many healthy schools of fish. We never got out of buffels bay... I heard that on Thursday there were fun and games on the track at Simon's town. I heard that the cops chased the anglers off the construction site there and a massive school of tail was trekked... FLIP! more than a 1000 lifetimes of fish in one net... not to mention the future that went with them... So sad!

Cheers

Ja, thats sadly where all the fish ended up on Thursday. Launched early at Buffels, the water was very icy, paddled out chasing the odd birds diving into the water...but to no avail. Had a great day out on the water though, swell was alot bigger than predicted. Next week looking hopeful:)

Thanks again for your interest
