Report on 31 October OPBC Cape Bream Derby
Saturday turned out to be a peach of a day off Sea Point & Clifton area. I got numerous calls and e-mails of people canceling/bailing out prior to the competition, because of wind. What wind……….??? Something I learnt over the years, ride down to the slip on the morning and then take the decision. With 59 entries and in total 21 boats the juniors, guys & dolls had fun. All the entrants caught fish. I am told to believe that the bigger fish were caught in deeper waters off Clifton.
