Can anyone give me the co-ordinates or directions to the farm please. The directions on the website is very fague.:)

Thanks

The directions are a little vague cause the roads there are somewhat tricky, so I'm gonna try and give it a go.

Take the R28 towards Krugersdorp, go past Centurion, Diepstoot I mean Diepsloot, the Highway will go into a dip through a turn towards the left, the off-ramp you should take is called the Muldersdrift off ramp.  Now turn left at the first crossing you get and travel underneath the highway it'll turn towards the left again, at the T - junction turn right. At the Next T - junction turn left and the frist road right again, the Estate should be on your left no very far from your last turn.

The tricky part of the Road is the part from the off-ramp to the frist T junction, then its straight forward, did a bike run past there once some years ago but never went to the estate itself.

That sucks!!:X

Any suggestions on other places? I do not want to drive to far and it is only for the day, maybe bass lake? Can you fish from the bank there

Yes you can fish bass lake from the bank but as far as i know you can only fish Monday to Friday. I know last years winter they were open for fishing over weekends.

But ya it does suck if you can see a couple of big fish in Brookwoods dams but you can't use your bass tackle

Try kloofsig (sorry for the spelling) They just down the road and they have a couple of dams you can fish with your bass gear.

I had good success on black and blue senko's in the dam next to the fly fishing dam and good success with white spinner baits in the dam next to it. I did try the dam way up top but got nothing. They say there are a 6.5kg puppy in there but have never seen it or heard of anybody getting it. When you going?

Just book in advance to ensure a spot. I know the last time we went we had to book because they only allow a limited amount of anglers

Osie, Brookwood is all right. The bass are nothing fantastic. My biggest there is just over a KG. The best method is top water (buzz baits and Horny Toads) Fish along the banks. There is quite alot structure.

Im going there sunday, whats awesome is the bottom big dam is full of trout as well, you catch them on small spinners while targeting bass, very strong fight. Unfortunately any trout caught you have to keep, they do not allow catch and release so hope you have plenty money with you on the day because you are bound to catch a few trout unles you fish just plastics but then your chances of catching any bass are very slim. TOP WATER is the way to go. A medium sized spinner bait is also very effective along the shore line but needs to be fished at quite a slow rate and every now and then crank it hard, you have to work hard to get the bass's attention there.

Let you guys know how it went this sunday
