. I like using the supercast plain, just wanna find out if the braam stolz or trucella triggerfeed is better.

Most of the mieliebom on the market are worth looking at. The secret is in the preparation. Make it as soggy as possible so it almost runs off your hand and let it stand for at least 10-15min. After this time you can add a little dry feed if needed. Because the bomb is now saturated with moisture it will break up quickly in the water.

Gooi julle net water by tot die tekstuur reg is om 'n bom te maak of maak julle soos in die begin van jou hengel sessie dat jy dit nat maak en vir 15 - 20 min laat staan?
GregB1 if your bomb takes to long to break up just put some wild birdseed in your mix, this is an extra attractor and help with the break-up as well.

Ek maak regtig redelik min hoeveelhede op 'n slag aan (5 liter emmertjie so kwart vol), gewoonlik is daar een of twee stroppe klaar gelaai met mieliebom wat ek dan ook in my emmertjie laat le sodat mens net weer op die snapswiwel aan jou hooflyn kan clip.

GregB1 : You can add the pellets you use to feed rabits as well. Not to much, otherwise your Mealiebom wont bind as good and break in the air when you cast.(saw those pellets mixed with whole and minced kaboem works great with a baitboat)
That is basicly what you do to get it on your sinker but time is of the essence as well so you don't want to sit the whole time working with your bom to get it more 'sticky'. If you want it to be more sticky put some Fishmeal with your feed. This is also an ekstra attractor and does the opposite as what the wild bird seeds do. Fish simply loves the stuff but be warned that includes barbel. I don't mind catching them so I always use it in my mix. It can also replace the use of koi or trout pellets as flavourant.
The problem with the particles bigger than the wild bird seeds is that your bom falls apart more easily when you cast, and this frustrates the living 'poef' hehehe out of me.
I personally mix Supercast with Eco Catch's or the Original's (Barry van Niekerk) FINE feed together. Depends which one I can find. I prefer Eco tho. I mix 2/3 Supercast and 1/3 Eco or Original. This for me cuts out the 10 - 20 min waiting time which Super cast feeds require. I then mix a bit of fish meal with that just for the ekstra attractor factor (listen to that haha). If I go to a venue which is known for good tempo fishing I also ad the wildbird seeds and even some hemp seeds. Note: If I must cast far for the fish I leave out the wildbird seeds and hemp because of the greater force used that breaks up you bom during the cast.

Ek like om Karamel KOO pitte by the voeg in die bom of ek sal bietjie chick chick meng om die voerbol te suppliment.

I leave mine open. If it feel a bit too dry I just wet my hand a little and as soon as you start forming the bomb it is fine again. Another tip I might add is to keep the particles in the bucket loose from each other as this helps trap air inside as soon as you form the bomb which also helps in the breaking up of it in the water.
Greg. Try this one also. Takes a little time to prepare.
Two handsfull of wild bird seed in your plastic bucket.
Cover with water to about 20mm above the seed. Microwave for 10 minutes on high. This will give you a "snotterige" mix.
Now mix in supercast plain in small quantities untill you get a fluffy mixture. (trial&error). After about 1 hour, if you take a handful and press, it should bind immediately. Quite dry. Then add a can of koo whole kernel corn, (drained). I cast with this mixture about 120-130m on a M3 weight without the bomb falling off. It also dissolves in about 10min.
No use when a comp angler. Then time is a big factor...
