I just happen to be in the Tackle trade as wholesaler and Tackle Shop owner and the perios Late May till end August has to be the most depressing time in business and sport that I have.

here on Sealine and in the shop all the guys talk about is who casts how far, how much distance casting they're putting in and who can and who can't

After 7 September we return to sanity and we start fishing where the fish are and discussions return to normality and FISH, FISH, FISH and none of this other bull we have to keep ourselves busy with.

Sheeeeeesh I hate the cold and short days with no of little fish to talk about.

Come on summer and bring us many fishy pics to chat about and stories to tell and warm evenings for a Snoek braai with fishing Buddies

Warm Sunny Days, Short Sleeves and 12 hours fishing a day

I quite enjoy winter fishing. But that's because my 1st love is fishing for edibles and in winter all the edibles are bigger.
