Hmm...I guess it looks like a knuckle, or rather the lower part of the back leg of a bull (hock).

But knuckles are often defined the same as chines....ie lines running either longitudinally or transversely or both, that define any hard edge even a spray rail. (as opposed to round bilge). Even the transom edge, running transversely (being a hard edge) can be defined as a knuckle line.

Basically just distinguishes a point in space on the surface of the hull as either being tangential (ie on a smooth rounding)  or on a hard edge.......ie knuckle line, or chine line....or rail
