Was just reading the same story.... that fish is a monster!

Wonder what's the potential of bagging a granddaddy like that off the Cape Coast?

Looking at some of the fish Tommy and his crew shot in their heyday surely a well planned trip could yield something similar in the CT deep?

I stand to be corrected but I don't think there has been a YFT taken in Cape waters over 120kg. There have been a few big eyes close to this size though and blue fin back in the day.

My initial response would be that there's always a first time, but with the fish stocks being what it is...it's most probably just a pipe dream
