We wanted to go fishing at Bronkies Fishing and Nature Reserve on Sat 8 Jan 2011. This is what we found where the river runs into the dam. You have to cross this bridge to get to the gate. We went in a BMW and we were not going to risk it. I am sure the road will be unusable for a few months.
Heavy rains = NO FISHING.
So we went to Baja and was it BAD? It was crap. The place is filthy. Only a few spots where you can fish. The rest is reeds and grass. The dam itself was full of dirt and grass. Got one 780-grams carp in 12 hours. So we will not be going back to Baja.
The Nature Reserve is much better but cannot get over the bridge for now....
