Hi Guys,

Going to the reserve side in November. Any tips on bait or dips for barbel and carp.

Can bass be caught from the side. If so what type of lures?

First time going to the reserve or bronkies for that matter so any tips will be appreciated

Have you already done your trip? Reason I ask is my wife has some work on Sunday close to the dam. Want to know if it's worthwhile taking a rod with and trying for a couple hours

Hi grassy,

Did my trip this past weekend...
unfortunately only 2 small barbel coming out on worms. I think you have to cast very deep to get some decent size fish.

Out of 30 anglers only one fish above 1kg (weighed 1.2kg)

Give it a try, better to sit at the water than at home
